Alec Berens

Alec Berens is currently the Vice President at El Rio Santa Cruz. Prior to this, they served on the Board of Directors for El Rio Community Health Center from January 2016 to December 2020. Alec was also the Director of Research for Sterling Investment Management from January 2018 to January 2020 and a Senior Research Analyst for the company from January 2016 to January 2018. Berens' other previous positions include working as an Equity Research for JMP Securities from January 2015 to January 2016 and as a Sponsored Golf Professional for Bridgestone Golf from April 2014 to December 2014. Alec started their career as an intern for Diamond Ventures in the summer of 2013.

Alec Berens attended Emory University from 2010-2014, where they studied mathematics and economics. Alec is a CFA Level 3 Candidate from the CFA Institute and a Series 65 from FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority).
