Tanya L. Smith

Tanya L. Smith, RDH, BS, is a dedicated registered dental hygienist with extensive experience in the field, currently employed at El Rio Community Health Center since January 2023. Tanya has contributed to the dental community as an inaugural writer for Today's RDH since March 2018, and previously worked at Daggett Dentistry from September 2011 to January 2023. Tanya's volunteer experience includes serving as a dental hygienist at St. Elizabeth's Health Center from June 2011 to October 2016. Additional roles include working as a registered dental hygienist and front office manager/dental assistant at Rillito Crossing Dental PC from 2004 to 2013. Tanya holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from Northern Arizona University and an Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from Rio Salado College School of Dental Hygiene.
