Eetu Tourunen has extensive work experience in digital marketing and digital development. Eetu currently serves as the Global Head of Marketing and Communications at ELAN Group, where they are responsible for the company's global e-commerce and digital marketing strategies. Prior to this role, they worked as a Digital Marketing Manager at ELAN Group, where they successfully planned and executed digital marketing campaigns and launched a B2C e-commerce platform in EU markets.

Before joining ELAN Group, Eetu worked at KJK Sports as the Head of Digital Development, where they were responsible for overseeing the digital transformation within the company and strategically planning and executing digital development projects. Eetu also worked at Studio Moderna as a Digital Brand Manager, where they handled online activities for a cookware brand in 20 countries, managed web store design changes, and developed interactive multimedia content. Furthermore, they worked as a Web Designer at Studio Moderna, where they managed digital design projects and led a viral game project in multiple countries.

Eetu Tourunen started their career at Buildercom Oy as an Interaction Designer, where they completed a four-month paid internship. During this time, they were responsible for planning, designing, and prototyping a new interface for a web-based project management tool and conducted research on usability and user testing.

Throughout their career, Eetu has demonstrated strong leadership skills, budget control, and project management expertise. Eetu has gained a deep understanding of digital marketing, digital development, e-commerce, and brand management.

Eetu Tourunen's education history includes multiple academic pursuits and certifications. From 2005 to 2013, Eetu attended Lapin Yliopisto, University of Lapland, Faculty of Art and Design, where they studied Audiovisual Mediaculture. In 2010, they briefly attended the Faculty of Economics at the University of Ljubljana, focusing on Marketing. Furthermore, they attained the "Introduction to NFTs: Non-fungible Tokens" certification in April 2022 from LinkedIn. Prior to these, Eetu obtained the "Google Analytics Certification" from Google in August 2015. Eetu also holds a "Certificate of Social Media Marketing" from SO ME Academy and the "DMA certified Direct Marketing Professional" from DMA, although specific dates for these certifications are unavailable.
