Dr. Gertraut Altreuther

Dr. Gertraut Altreuther is a seasoned professional in veterinary medicine with extensive experience in clinical development management, currently serving as a Senior Clinical Development Manager in Pet Health Product Development at Elanco since August 2020. Prior to this role, Dr. Altreuther held significant positions at Bayer Animal Health from September 1999 to July 2020, including Senior Clinical Development Manager, Clinical Project Manager for Endoparasiticides in Companion Animals, and Veterinarian Study Investigator. Dr. Altreuther's academic background includes a Doctoral thesis in veterinary immunology from the University of Zurich, as well as veterinary qualifications from Freie Universität Berlin and experience as a guest student at the University of Cambridge.
