Eric Springer

Eric Springer serves as the Senior Director of R&D Global Operations at Elanco's Iowa Site since June 2015, overseeing various teams in Study Management, Clinical Execution, Clinical Laboratory, Veterinary Services, and Animal Care. With a robust leadership experience, Eric has previously held positions including Swine Vaccines Group Team Leader, Cattle Vaccines R&D Director, and leader of the Vaccines Antibiotic Alternative Acceleration team. Prior to joining Elanco, Eric worked at Novartis Animal Health, managing vaccine R&D projects, and at Grand Laboratories, where responsibilities included supervising research teams and project execution. Eric holds a Master of Science in Veterinary Microbiology and Immunobiology from South Dakota State University and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Iowa State University, alongside an Associate of Arts in Laboratory Technology from Ellsworth Community College.
