Michelle Calvo-Lorenzo

Michelle Calvo-Lorenzo serves as the Chief Animal Welfare Officer at Elanco since July 2015, focusing on enhancing livestock welfare and sustainability in food production through a deep understanding of livestock production and scientific discovery. Previously, Michelle was an Assistant Professor at Oklahoma State University from August 2012 to July 2015. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Animal Sciences and a Master's degree in Animal Sciences from the University of California, Davis, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Florida International University.
