Sandeep Bhale

Sandeep (Sandy) Bhale, Ph.D., currently serves as Senior Director and Product Development Leader at Elanco, focusing on OTC and CPG product development for Companion Animal Health since May 2024. With extensive experience in the field, Sandeep previously held senior roles at Mars and Colgate Palmolive, leading R&D sustainability and product development initiatives. Sandeep has also contributed to the Journal of the International Society of Sports Nutrition as a peer reviewer since 2010. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Food Science and Nutrition and an MS in Biological and Agricultural Engineering from Louisiana State University, along with a B.Tech in Agricultural Engineering from Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth. Prior positions include a technical lead at Bristol Myers Squibb and a research associate and teaching assistant at Louisiana State University.
