Wole Obawole

Wole Obawole has extensive work experience in the oil and gas industry. Wole worked as the Head of Facilities Engineering at Eland Oil & Gas from 2017 to present. Prior to that, they were the Principal Technical Consultant at Bowalds Energy Limited from 2014 to 2018. Wole also served as the General Manager of Facilities & Infrastructure at Oando Plc from 2014 to 2016. Before joining Oando Plc, Wole worked as a Principal Consultant at Bowalls Services UK Limited from 2010 to 2014. Wole also held positions at Premier Oil as the Business Development, Facilities/Devt Engineering Lead from 2013 to 2014, and at EnQuest as a Development Engineer from 2010 to 2013. Wole began their career at Shell, where they held various engineering roles from 1991 to 2010, including Onshore Asset Optimization: Engineering Lead. Wole also worked as a Senior Project Engineer at RDS Shell UK E&P Ltd from 2004 to 2008 and as a Corporate Business Planner/Economist at RDS Shell Nigeria E&P Co from 2001 to 2004.

Wole Obawole attended St John's Grammar School in Ile-Ife from 1975 to 1980, where they obtained a High School diploma. After completing their high school education, they enrolled at the University of Ibadan from 1982 to 1986.
