Emma Capulong has over 8 years of experience in the health and wellness field. Emma began their career in 2013 as a Sales Associate with Journeys. In 2014, they became a Writing Fellow and Scientific Editor with San Diego State University and a Climbing Wall Lead-Supervisor and PCGI Certified Top-Rope Guide with Associated Students, San Diego State University. Emma also presented professional seminars on leadership and sustainability at the Western Regional Outdoor Leadership Conference at Stanford University and CSU Northridge. In 2016, they were a Development Intern with TEDxSanDiego. In 2017, they were an Editorial Intern with Outside Bozeman Magazine. In 2018, they were a Development Writer with Dollaride and a Program Manager with Big Sky Youth Empowerment where they wrote, evaluated, and delivered bi-weekly group workshops to underestimated teenagers in the Gallatin Valley, Montana. In 2020, they became a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC) with Outside Is Your Best Side L.L.C. and, in 2021, they are a Health and Wellness Coach with ELANZA Wellness (Techstars NYC).
Emma Capulong, NBC-HWC attended San Diego State University from 2013 to 2017, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Professional, Technical, Business, and Scientific Writing. In 2016, they also participated in a Study Abroad program at Masaryk University Brno, focusing on Education Studies.
