Betta Swanson

Betta brings over 10 years of experience in healthcare compliance. She has a demonstrated history of building, managing, overseeing and leading complex compliance programs. Prior to joining Elara Caring, Betta served as Chief Compliance Officer at 21st Century Oncology Inc. where she was responsible for successfully managing all implementation, annual, and ongoing compliance requirements. She oversaw their enterprise-wide compliance program, provided guidance to the Board of Directors, and led a team of Regional Compliance Officers, Compliance Auditors, and HIPAA staff to ensure thorough compliance. She also served in compliance positions as Vice President at Strategic Management Services and as compliance team lead at ecfirst.

Betta earned a B.A. in Social Policy from Northwestern University, and a Master of Public Policy from The University of Chicago. She also holds a certification in Healthcare Compliance from the Compliance Certification Board (2013).
