Michael Alvarez

Michael Alvarez has over three decades of work experience, starting with a role as an Airman in the US Air Force from 1990 to 1994. Michael then transitioned to a position as a Logistics Operations Manager at 3M/Selber from 1994 to 1997. In 1997, Alvarez joined Cisco as a Sr. Manager, Advanced Services, where they worked until 2007. From 2007 to 2011, they held the position of Director, Racker Technical Services at Rackspace Managed Hosting. Alvarez then moved to Acelity, where they took on various roles including Director of Global Wintel Systems from 2011 to 2013, Director Global IT Infrastructure & Data Center Operations from 2013 to 2015, and finally as Sr. Director IT Infrastructure from 2015 to 2021. Currently, Alvarez is employed as the Vice President of IT Infrastructure at Elara Caring, starting in November 2021.

Michael Alvarez has a Bachelor of Science degree in Management/Marketing from Park University. Michael also holds certifications in ITIL Foundations v2 and Six Sigma Green Belt.
