Aaron Jewitt

Aaron Jewitt is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in information security and threat management. Currently serving as Principal Information Security Analyst II at Elastic, Aaron specializes in creating and managing SIEM detection rules for a global cloud-based company. Prior experience includes leading the Threat Hunting and Penetration Testing teams at Booz Allen Hamilton, building proactive threat hunting capabilities for the US Army Europe. Aaron's tenure at the National Security Agency as Technical Director involved establishing strategic goals and providing technical leadership, while earlier experience in the United States Air Force included founding the 315 Network Warfare Squadron and developing software for military applications. Aaron holds a Master's degree in Cybersecurity and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland Global Campus, as well as a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Penetration Testing and Ethical Hacking from the SANS Technology Institute.
