Gil Raphaelli has extensive experience in engineering and development, serving in various leadership roles within notable companies. Currently, as Senior Director of Engineering at Elastic since November 2017, Gil leads the Observability Collection and Ingestion Team and previously directed the APM & Synthetics Team. Prior to Elastic, Gil held the position of Senior Software Engineer at RealScout and worked at Monetate, Inc. as a Software Engineer and Engineering Director. Experience also includes significant roles at Yahoo! (Flickr), Comcast, and Accenture. Gil’s education includes a Bachelor's degree in MSIS from Penn State University and a Graduate Certificate in Information Technology from The University of Queensland.
