Wibke Laier

Wibke Laier currently serves as Area Vice President for EMEA Central/DACH at Elastic since February 2025, focusing on driving growth in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. Previously, Wibke held the position of Head of Azure Sales for Central Eastern Europe at Microsoft from August 2019 to February 2025, leading a team across 18 countries and overseeing Azure Data & AI initiatives. Wibke's earlier roles at Microsoft included leading the Azure solution sales team for manufacturing customers in Germany and managing sales at Cisco as a Senior Account Manager and Hunting Account Manager. Wibke began the career as an Associate Sales Representative at Cisco after gaining experience as a Research Assistant in Marketing at Universität Mannheim. Wibke holds multiple Master of Science degrees in Marketing/Marketing Management from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School and TBS Education.
