Fred Higgins

Fred Higgins is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the insurance and financial services industry. Currently serving as the Director of Partner Support, Operations at Elavon, Inc. since September 2019, Fred has held various leadership positions including Carrier Relations Manager at Answer Financial and Vice President of Insurance Solutions at TransCard, where innovative claims payment solutions were developed. Prior experience includes roles as Director of Operations at Appalachian Underwriters, where responsibilities encompassed Treasury Operations and carrier payables, and Sr. Vice President of Fiduciary Accounting at Marsh USA, leading a team to manage accounting operations for multiple insurance offices. Fred’s career began at Travelers Insurance as Regional Controller, providing financial services and analysis. Academic qualifications include a BA in History from Davidson College and further studies at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
