Elcella is a unique twice-daily capsule that helps you re-establish the reliable natural communication between your gut and your brain, giving you back control of your appetite.

It works by boosting the amount of hormones naturally released by special cells in your gut in response to food.

Dr Madusha Peiris and Dr Ruby Aktar have validated and developed the technology with the aim of helping people live healthier lives by giving them back control of their appetite.

Dr Peiris has over 15 years of research experience and is a world-leading scientist in the field of gut-brain connection. She has authored scientific articles, speaks at international conferences and now leads Elcella as CEO.

Dr Aktar brings a wealth of expertise and skills helping to create Elcella’s unique product. She has a strong scientific background that she is now leveraging to lead operations as COO.
