Eric de Laat

Eric de Laat has significant experience in public administration and governance, currently serving as Sectorhoofd bedrijfsvoering sociaal domein at Gemeente Eindhoven since September 2023. Previously, Eric worked at Gemeente Waalwijk for over 25 years, holding various leadership roles, including Directeur bedrijfsvoering en dienstverlening, where responsibilities included overseeing the Concernstaf and external service teams. Other positions at Gemeente Waalwijk included Waarnemend afdelingshoofd Leefbaarheid, Veiligheid en Handhaving, Afdelingshoofd HRM, Informatiebeheer en ICT, and Programmamanager e-dienstverlening. Eric has also contributed to educational governance as a member of the medezeggenschapsraad at Elde College and served as voorzitter at Basisschool De Beemd.
