Bryce Pilcher

Bryce Pilcher has extensive work experience in the field of software engineering and data engineering. Bryce currently holds the position of Lead Data Engineer at Elder Research, Inc. since April 2023. Prior to this role, they served as a Senior Data Engineer at the same company from May 2021 to April 2023. Additionally, Bryce worked as a Software Engineer at Elder Research, Inc. from February 2018 to May 2021.

In 2018, Bryce co-founded Jobii, where they served as the Founding Partner responsible for Technology and Software Development. Bryce used React with Redux for front-end development and Firebase as the datastore/authentication platform. Bryce held this role from March 2018 to January 2022.

Before Jobii, Bryce worked at Elder Research as a Software Engineering Associate in 2017 and 2016, where they were involved in designing AWS infrastructure, conducting security reviews, supporting data scientists with visualizations and AWS resources, and developing a Graph DB connection module. Bryce was also a part of a geographically diverse software team.

In 2013, Bryce joined Elder Research, Inc. as a Software Engineering Associate, where they led the design, implementation, and deployment of a dynamic visualization tool using JavaScript library D3. Bryce worked closely with clients, gathered requirements, and conducted rapid prototyping.

Prior to their roles at Elder Research, Bryce gained experience as a Quality Assurance Intern at Intel Corporation in 2012, where they developed and implemented test plans and prototyped a web front-end for a Business Intelligence Solution. In 2011, they also worked as a Software Development Intern at Elder Research, Inc.

Throughout their career, Bryce Pilcher has demonstrated expertise in software and data engineering, project management, and client interaction.

Bryce Pilcher completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from North Carolina State University, spanning from 2010 to 2015. Subsequently, from 2015 to 2017, they pursued a Master of Science in Computer Science at the same institution.
