Valerie Mann

Valerie Mann has worked in a variety of roles in the Human Resources field since 1995. Valerie began their career as a Personnel Officer at Viglen, then moved to Sotheby's as a European HR Officer in 1998. In 2000, they took on the role of EMEA HR Specialist and EMEA HR Manager at RSA, the Security Division of EMC. In 2007, they became the HR Director, Europe at HomeAway, now known as Vrbo. In 2019, they became the Head of People at Mention Me, where they reported to the CEO and managed a team of four. In 2020, they took on the role of Director of People at Elder and also volunteered at the Covid-19 Volunteer Testing Network.

Valerie Mann's education history includes a Postgraduate Diploma in Personnel Management, CIPD certified from the University of West London from 1995 to 1997, where they studied Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General. Valerie also attended IPAG Business School from 1991 to 1995, where they studied Business Degree with HR specialisation. Additionally, they hold certifications from SolutionsAcademy (ACTP Coaching in Organizations - PCC, obtained in December 2020), Insights (Insights Facilitator, obtained in 2010), DDI | Development Dimensions International (DDI Practitioner, obtained in 2006), and the International Coaching Federation (Professional Certified Coach - PCC, obtained in May 2021). Valerie also holds a Facet5 Facilitator certification, obtained in 2004, and is a Chartered Member of CIPD.
