Eldergrow

Eldergrow™ offers evidence-based connections to nature with innovative therapeutic horticulture programs designed for senior living residents. Our Therapeutic Horticulture Program is led by Eldergrow Educators who facilitate therapeutic sessions for Memory & Skilled Care residents. The diverse curriculum includes gardening, garden art, and culinary harvest sessions. Educators document resident's wellness goals while also providing garden maintenance. The Culinary Herb Garden is a D-I-Y program that brings 'farm to fork' into senior living. Fresh herbs with recipes & activities are delivered each month as part of our unique 'Herb of the Month' program for IL/AL residents. Eldergrow grew out of founder Orla Concannon's experience working in senior living and her relationship with her grandmother who lived her later years in a nursing home. Orla saw the need to connect residents to the healing powers of nature and therefore found a way to bring nature indoors with interactive programs. The mobile, indoor gardens bring residents renewed purpose and unparalleled sensory stimulation. Eldergrow empowers more than residents in senior living communities. Our mobile, indoor garden are handcrafted by disabled veterans and other adults living with disabilities.
