Candice Weatherly, Esq., CHC, CHPC has a strong background in regulatory compliance and privacy within the healthcare industry. Candice has held various roles throughout their career, all of which have focused on ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and protecting patient privacy.
In 2010, Candice joined MetroPlus Health Plan as a Compliance and Privacy Analyst, where they played a key role in analyzing and addressing compliance and privacy issues.
In 2013, Candice moved to Centerlight Health System, where they took on the position of Compliance & Privacy Manager. Here, they continued their work in managing compliance and privacy matters, ensuring the organization adhered to all necessary regulations.
In 2015, Candice joined Elderplan Inc as a Manager of Regulatory Compliance. Candice quickly progressed within the organization, moving into the role of Assistant Director, Regulatory Compliance in November 2016. In January 2018, Candice was promoted to Assistant Vice President, Regulatory Compliance, where they took on more senior responsibilities in overseeing regulatory compliance.
Candice's most recent role at Elderplan Inc is as the Vice President of Compliance & Privacy, a position they have held since July 2022. In this role, they are responsible for leading compliance and privacy initiatives at the organization.

Candice Weatherly, Esq., CHC, CHPC, has a strong educational background in both legal studies and intellectual property & communications law. Candice received their Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Cardozo School of Law, where they studied from 2005 to 2008. Prior to this, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Journalism from Penn State University, graduating in 2005.
In addition to their academic achievements, Candice has also obtained two certifications in healthcare compliance. In 2011, they became Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) from HCCA CCB. A year later, in 2012, they obtained another certification, this time as a Certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CHPC), also from HCCA CCB.
