Jian Li

Jian Li has over 20 years of experience in IT management and leadership. Jian started their career in 1997 as a System/Database Administrator at Cancercare, Inc, where they administered network and database operations, managed the OpenVMS clinical system, and expanded the local area network. In 2000, they became an IT Manager at Cancercare, Inc, responsible for designing and implementing Windows 2000 active directory and group policies, converting systems to SQL-based platforms, and enhancing system backup and recovery.

In 2003, Jian Li joined CancerCare as the Director of IT, where they directed the development of the company's data warehouse structure and decision support system, led network integration projects, managed the IT budget, and maintained vendor relationships. Jian held this role until 2006 when they became the Assistant Director of IT at Royal Health Care, overseeing the MIS department's daily operations, collaborating with other departments, and assisting the CIO in IT development strategies.

Since 2007, Jian Li has been working at Elderplan/Homefirst, initially serving as the Manager of Managed Care IT and Application Architect. In this role, they led the development of database systems and architecture, provided solutions to support the plan's strategic planning and daily operations, and ensured accurate and secure data exchange with external vendors. Jian has since been promoted to the Assistant Director of Business Architecture at Elderplan/Homefirst.
