Tameka Gaines Holly has a strong background in business and management consulting. Tameka currently holds the position of Chief Operations Officer at ElderSource, Inc. since March 2020. Prior to this, Tameka founded their own company called Tameka Gaines Holly Consulting, LLC in 2014, where they serve as President and CEO. Their consulting company specializes in strategic planning, organizational development, capacity-building, and various other services. Tameka also has experience in the political arena, having run as a candidate for City Council District 8 from January 2018 to May 2019. Tameka previously worked as the Chief Program Officer at the Community Rehabilitation Center from September 2012 to June 2014, overseeing grant and organizational services as well as managing staff and operational activities.

Tameka Gaines Holly has a strong educational background in the field of public policy and health care administration. Tameka completed their Bachelor's Degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University between 1999 and 2004. Following this, they pursued a Master's Degree in Public Health from the University of North Florida from 2007 to 2009. Most recently, they obtained a Master of Public Policy degree from Jacksonville University between 2018 and 2020.

In addition to their academic achievements, Tameka also holds a certification in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace. Tameka obtained this certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education in May 2021. This further demonstrates their commitment to promoting inclusivity and diversity in professional environments.

The goal at ElderSource is to continue to serving our seniors, adults with seven county service area with such programs as the Aging and Disability Resource Center HelpLine, adults with disabilities, Veterans, the Mobile Resource Center, Elder Abuse Prevention, SNAP Nutrition Program, Transportation Services, LGBT Elders, Care Transitions Coaching, mental health services and so much more! You can help us ensure that seniors and their caregivers have support, access to care and the resources they need to live life to its fullest. We reach out to more than 12,000 people each year to people in our seven county service area including: Baker, Clay, Duval, Flagler, Nassau, St. Johns and Volusia counties. The programs and activities of ElderSource are funded by federal, state and local grants as well as private donations and endowments. The mission of ElderSource is to empower individuals to age with independence and dignity by providing leadership, direction, advocacy and support for a comprehensive, coordinated continuum of care.
