Andres Gil

Andres Gil has extensive experience in journalism, currently serving as Deputy Managing Editor for World News and overseeing the Desalambre section at elDiario.es since September 2012. Gil previously held positions such as EU Correspondent and head editor at the same outlet. Prior experience includes serving as Deputy Director at Diario ADN from January 2006 to January 2012, and various editorial roles at Prisa magazines from 2000 to 2006, including head editor and director. Early career experience includes a role as a journalist at El País from January 1999 to March 2000. Andres Gil holds a Master's degree in Journalism from UAM/El País (1998-1999) and a Licenciatura in Geography and History from Universidad Complutense de Madrid (1991-1997).
