Bill Hagner, CAIA, CMA has a diverse work experience in the finance and consulting industry. Bill currently serves as the Chairman at Sommsation since 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Eldridge from 2016 onwards, where they held the positions of Partner and Chief Strategy Officer, as well as a Technology Consultant.

Before Eldridge, Bill was associated with Guggenheim Partners, where they joined in 2003 as a Senior Managing Director. During their tenure, they served as the General Counsel of an asset manager with $230 billion of AUM. Bill led sophisticated deal and regulatory teams and also designed and built a pioneering legal-technology team comprising lawyer-coders. Bill remained with Guggenheim Partners until 2015.

Prior to Guggenheim Partners, Bill worked at Ernst & Young as an International Tax Advisor from 2002 to 2003, and at Andersen as an International Tax Advisor from 2001 to 2002.

Bill Hagner, CAIA, CMA received their Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy from William & Mary in 1993. Bill also attended the Haverford School, although the specific years and degree obtained are unknown. Additionally, they pursued further education at Temple University School of Law, where they earned a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in Tax Law/Taxation. Lastly, they attended the University of Richmond School of Law, where they obtained a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree, although the field of study is unspecified.
