Akriti Singh, PhD, is an experienced professional in the field of nutrition and public health, currently serving as the Associate Director of Policy & Research (Maternal Nutrition) at the Eleanor Crook Foundation since November 2025. Prior to this role, Akriti held various positions at Helen Keller International from September 2020 to October 2025, including Nutrition and Health Advisor and Technical Advisor for the USAID Advancing Nutrition project. Akriti's earlier experience includes research positions at The Gerald J. and Dorothy R. Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy at Tufts University and as Sr. Nutrition Program Coordinator for the Suaahara I project at Helen Keller International. Akriti obtained a PhD in Food Policy and Applied Nutrition from The Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy at Tufts University and holds a Master of Public Health degree in Epidemiology of Microbial Diseases from Yale University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Mount Holyoke College.
