George Zhi Tang

George Zhi Tang has been working in the power electronics field since 1994. George began their career at China Potevio as an Engineer on Telecom Rectifier. In 1996, they joined Huawei as a Power Electronics Senior Designer and Project Manager. In 2001, they moved to Emerson Network Power as a Power Electronics R&D Manager. In 2008, they returned to Huawei as a Senior Expert on Power Electronics at the Central Research Institute, Power Electronics R&D Director at Huawei Sweden AB, and Head of DC/DC Power Supply Technology. In 2012, they began working at Wärtsilä as an R&D Expert. In 2013, they joined Samsung Electronics as a Principal Engineer and Head of Power Electronics R&D. In 2015, they moved to Alpha Technologies Ltd. as a Principal Power Electronics Engineer. George currently serves as the R&D Director at eLeapPower.

George Zhi Tang's education history includes a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Harbin Institute of Technology (2006-2009), a Bachelor's degree in Control of Science and Engineering from the Huazhong University of Science and Technology (1990-1994), and a high school diploma from Nr.11 High School in Wuhan (1987-1990).
