Mateo Pérez

Mateo Pérez serves as the Business Development Deputy Director for Europe at Elecnor Group since March 2017, focusing on various sectors including energy, water, railways, installations, telecoms, and oil & gas. Mateo has held significant positions such as Country Director and Deputy Country Manager in Ghana, overseeing local operations, business development, and representation in multiple West African countries. Additionally, Mateo founded the Spain-Ghana Chamber of Commerce in 2020 and worked with ICEX to advise Spanish companies on investment opportunities in West Africa. With a Master of Engineering in Industrial Electronics and an MBA in International Business, Mateo is currently pursuing an Executive MBA at IESE Business School. Previous roles include research and project management at the University of Vigo and Tohoku University, as well as involvement in youth entrepreneurship initiatives.
