Rachel Tan

Rachel Tan is an experienced data analyst and GIS professional with a strong background in spatial data management and analysis. Currently employed at Elections Ontario as a Data Analyst since February 2021, Rachel develops and integrates register data assets and manages data processing from external suppliers. Previously, as a GIS Data Technologist at Elections Ontario, Rachel maintained the Election Management System geodatabase and contributed to the successful administration of the 2022 Provincial General Election. Rachel's expertise also includes roles as a GIS Technician at Jeneric Consulting Ltd., a GIS Analyst at uMunch, and a GIS Assistant earlier at Elections Ontario. Furthermore, Rachel has experience in claims analysis from iA Financial Group. Rachel holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Geographic Analysis from Toronto Metropolitan University.
