Electra Airways is a European airline founded in 2016, headquartered in Sofia. Its core business model is based on charter and ACMI flight operations, providing services to leading tour operators, airlines, and brokers within the industry. Since 2022, Electra Airways has been a part of the Vector Group, an international aviation holding company comprised of three other companies: ETG Maintenance, an MRO based in Varna; Maverick Horizon, an Irish leasing company; and Classic Air, a capacity provider based in Tel Aviv and Malta. In early 2024, Electra Airways was registered as an IOSA operator.
