Sandeep Nijhawan

Sandeep Nijhawan is the CEO and Co-founder of Electra. Sandeep has over 20 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, with a focus on the development and commercialization of new technologies.

Sandeep started their career as a Strategic Account Manager at Applied Materials in 1999. Sandeep then became the LED Product-Line Head at Applied Materials in 2004, before leaving to start their own company, Siorah Incorporated, in 2009. Siorah was acquired by Intermolecular in 2011, and Sandeep became the SVP, GM Customer Programs at Intermolecular from 2011 to 2015. In 2016, they left Intermolecular to start Staq Energy, Inc., where they served as Founder and President until 2019. Sandeep joined True North Venture Partners as an Operating Partner in November 2017, and left in December 2019 to focus on their current role at Electra.
