Steven Fatur

Steven Fatur is an accomplished Hydrometallurgy Manager and Senior Scientist at Electra since August 2021, previously serving as Principal Investigator and Senior Scientist at Pioneer Astronautics from July 2018 to July 2021. Fatur has a strong background in electrochemical energy systems and CO2 capture, leading projects that secured $2M in SBIR grants and resulted in innovative recycling processes. Prior experiences include a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Colorado Boulder, where research focused on catalytic processes, and an Associate Chemist at Sherwin-Williams, where new coatings were commercialized. Fatur holds a Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Tufts University.
