Nick Chakalos has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry. Nick began their career in 1998 as a Worldwide Strategic Marketing & Business Development Manager at IBM. In 2000, they joined Ucentric Systems as Vice President of Business Development, a role they held until the company was acquired by Motorola in 2005. At Motorola, they held several executive positions, including Senior Director, with a focus on interactive TV, digital media applications, OTT video, and content delivery infrastructure and services. In 2011, they became the President of Catch Media Inc. and in 2015 they joined Cognitive Networks as Senior Vice President of Global Distribution. Later that year, they joined VideoAmp, where they held various roles including Member of the Board of Directors, Chief Strategy Officer, Executive Vice President and General Manager of Data and Supply, and Senior Vice President of Global Business Development. In 2017, they became a member of the Blockchain Working Group at IAB Tech Lab and in 2016 they were a member of the Digital Video Committee and Advanced TV Committee at IAB. In 2022, they joined Progress Partners as an Executive in Residence and in 2023 they became the Chief Operating Officer at Electra Vehicles, Inc.
Nick Chakalos obtained a BA in Engineering Sciences and a BE in Electrical Engineering from Dartmouth College between 1985 and 1989. Nick then went on to obtain an MBA from the Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business between 1995 and 1999. Nick has also taken courses at Harvard Business School and attended Keene High School.
