Shrikant Varpe

Shrikant Varpe has a strong background in research and development in the field of electric vehicles and power systems. shrikant has held various leadership roles in different companies, starting with their current position as Head of Research and Development at Electrodrive Powertrain Solutions Private Limited since April 2019. In this role, they are responsible for the research and development of electric vehicle components such as motor controllers, battery management systems, and vehicle control units. shrikant is also involved in vehicle architecture, range extension, safety regulations, and functional safety.

Prior to their current role, Shrikant served as the R&D leader at Span Pumps Private Limited from November 2014 to March 2019. Here, they focused on the design and development of solar pump inverters, battery management systems, and high voltage lithium-ion battery packs for solar applications.

Before joining Span Pumps, Shrikant worked as an Assistant Manager in R&D at Refusol India Pvt. Ltd. from January 2013 to October 2014. shrikant also held positions as a Senior Engineer in R&D at Wilo (Mather & Platt India Pvt. Ltd.) from March 2010 to January 2013, and as a Senior Engineer in R&D at Hueco Lightronic India P Ltd from October 2008 to February 2010.

Shrikant's career started as an R&D Engineer at Advances India Pvt. Ltd. from March 2005 to September 2008, where they gained valuable experience in research and development in the early stages of their professional journey.

Shrikant Varpe completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Kolhapur Jobs during the period from 2002 to 2004.
