Ugamoorthi Ramakrishnan

Ugamoorthi Ramakrishnan is a seasoned professional currently serving as the Head of ESG and Office of Strategic Initiatives at ElectraEV, starting in March 2023. In this role, Ugamoorthi leads environmental, social, and governance (ESG) strategy and implementation, aligning efforts with IFC Performance Standards while enhancing organizational capabilities and infrastructure. Prior to ElectraEV, Ugamoorthi held various leadership positions at Eastman Exports Global Clothing Pvt Ltd., culminating in the role of Assistant Vice President, focusing on sustainability, research and development, and process optimization. Experience also includes significant roles at SGS, where Ugamoorthi managed laboratory quality systems and ensured compliance with ISO standards. Ugamoorthi holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, as well as Master's degrees in Environmental Science and an MPhil in the same field, all from Bharathiar University.
