Elliott Rushing

Elliott Rushing has a diverse work experience. Elliott is currently working as a Project Manager at ElectraMet™ since August 2022. Prior to this role, they served as an Associate Systems Engineer and Associate Process Engineer at the same company. Elliott also worked as a Research and Development Technician from November 2020 to June 2021 at ElectraMet™.

Before joining ElectraMet™, Elliott worked as a Field Engineer at Baker Hughes, a GE company from July 2019 to November 2020. Before that, they were a Research Technician at PowerTech Water, LLC from November 2018 to June 2019. In this role, they conducted research on carbon electrode removal of lead, nickel, and copper from water.

Additionally, Elliott gained experience in the service industry as a Lead Server at Apiary Fine Catering and Events from September 2015 to January 2019. Elliott also worked as a Laborer at Kelly's Nursery Ltd from May 2017 to September 2017.

During their undergraduate years, Elliott worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Kentucky from August 2013 to August 2015. In this role, they synthesized and characterized porous silica nanoparticles for separation of fermentation broths, contributing to the development of on-farm processing of agricultural waste into commodity chemicals.

Elliott Rushing attended the University of Kentucky from 2012 to 2019, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering. Furthermore, Elliott obtained a Diploma of Spanish as a Foreign Language (DELE) Level B2 from the International Spanish Language Academy in May 2012.
