Jamin Hunter

Jamin Hunter is a Power System Protection Engineer currently employed at ElectraNet Pty Ltd since June 2024, having previously held the same position at Western Power from January 2022 to July 2024, where Jamin also completed a Graduate Electrical Engineer role through a structured program involving four 6-month rotations. Earlier experience includes the role of Student Engineer at Horizon Power from November 2019 to January 2022, where responsibilities encompassed PowerFactory tasks, fault level studies, and developing a PowerBI dashboard. Jamin's initial engineering exposure began with a summer placement in Capacity Management Services, alongside serving as a Swimming Instructor for the Department of Education, Western Australia, from November 2017 to November 2019. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Curtin University, completed in December 2021.
