Mark A. Scussel Sr.

Mark A. Scussel Sr. is an experienced engineering professional with a robust background in systems integration and project management, particularly within the defense sector. Currently serving as the Special Projects - Systems Integration Engineering Supervisor at General Dynamics Electric Boat since 2013, Mark oversees mission systems engineering efforts for the US Navy and international platforms, fostering technical leadership and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Previous roles include significant positions at Sikorsky Aircraft, where Mark directed various Navy Programs and Unmanned Aerial Systems initiatives, and at Electric Boat Corporation, leading critical projects for the Virginia Class Submarine program. Mark holds a Master’s degree in Management from Albertus Magnus College and dual Bachelor's degrees in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering from the University of New Haven.
