Hasitha Dharmasiri

Hasitha (Sith) Dharmasiri is an accomplished technology professional with a strong background in software engineering and electrical engineering. As the Vice President of Software at Electric Era, Hasitha leads software development initiatives. Previously, Hasitha held multiple engineering roles at SpaceX, starting as an Embedded Software Engineer and progressing to Lead Software Engineer and Flight Software Engineer. Additionally, Hasitha's experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at the Center for Multimedia Communications and an Electrical Engineering Internship at Viasat Inc. Hasitha earned a degree in Electrical Engineering from Rice University between 2010 and 2014, during which there was also a position as a course assistant for ELEC 241.
