Sabrine Cypher

Sabrine Cypher's work experience includes positions at several organizations.

From 2023, they worked as a PGM Chemist, Cell Technology at Electric Hydrogen. This company focuses on building solutions to decarbonize industrial sectors.

Prior to that, Sabrine worked at the University of Pennsylvania from 2017 to 2023. During this time, they held various roles including Graduate Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant. As a Graduate Research Assistant, they synthesized and characterized metal complexes for carbon dioxide insertion of metal-alkyl bonds. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, they assisted in teaching, mentoring, and supervising graduate and undergraduate students in chemistry-related courses.

Before their time at the University of Pennsylvania, Sabrine worked at the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2016 to 2017. As an Undergraduate Researcher, they worked with air and water sensitive materials and synthesized new catalytic agents. Sabrine also served as a College of Science Ambassador, where they guided prospective students and improved their interpersonal skills.

Sabrine's earlier work experience includes a position as a Laborer at Dairy Queen from 2014 to 2016.

From 2017 to 2023, Sabrine pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Inorganic Chemistry at the University of Pennsylvania.

Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where they studied from 2013 to 2017.

In 2015, Sabrine took part in an exchange program at the Victoria University of Wellington, focusing on Chemistry.

Furthermore, they graduated from Patch High School in 2013, earning their High School Diploma.

In terms of additional certifications, Sabrine completed the Outreach Training Program offered by the American Chemical Society in August 2020. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Practical Crystallography from Rigaku in June 2020.
