Jason Luo

Founder at Electric Last Mile Solutions

Jason Luo has an extensive work experience in the corporate world. Jason began their career in 2007 as Vice Chairman of the Board and President, CEO, and Board Member at Key Safety Systems. During their tenure, they were responsible for 15,000+ employees, 34 global technical centers, and 22 manufacturing facilities in 14 countries. Jason also successfully managed the company through the 2008-2009 recession and restructured 11 plants in Europe, North America, and Asia. In 2014, they moved to Crestview Partners as a Senior Advisor/Operating Executive. In 2017, they joined Ford Motor Company as Global VP, Chairman, and CEO of Ford Great China. In this role, they were responsible for P&L responsibility for Ford JVs in China and Taiwan, Lincoln Brand, Ford imports, EV, smart mobility, and AV strategy development/implementation. Jason also oversaw the Ford and Lincoln brand vehicle development, operation, branding/marketing for China and Taiwan with over 26,000 work force. In 2018, they founded AJ Capital Inc. and in 2019, they took on the role of Interim CEO at Accuride Corporation. Most recently, in 2020, they founded Electric Last Mile Solutions.

Jason Luo has an extensive educational background. Jason obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Beijing University of Technology between 1982 and 1986. Jason then went on to The University of Toledo, where they earned a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering between 1991 and 1993. Finally, they obtained a Master of Business Administration from Michigan State University - Eli Broad College of Business between 1998 and 1999.
