Alex Savas has a diverse work experience in the field of video editing and production. They started their career at Apple as a Specialist, providing technical troubleshooting assistance and answering customer inquiries. From there, they worked as a Video Editor/Videographer for the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America, where they produced, filmed, and edited highlight videos. They then took on the role of Director of Video Production | Lead Editor at True Productions, overseeing client projects from start to finish.

Following this, Alex worked as a Digital Media Producer as a freelancer, collaborating with various clients on graphic design, website development, social media marketing, and video editing projects. They also provided technical support for resolving technical issues. They then joined Sittercity as a Video Editor, where they created polished highlight videos from full-length interview footage.

After that, Alex worked at INXPO as a Producer, collaborating closely with enterprise clients to meet their digital event and media requirements. They also managed project scope, scheduling, and communication between the project team and clients. They then joined FanSided as a Video Producer, overseeing and directing media projects such as in-studio interviews, on-location shoots, podcasts, and live streams. They also conducted interviews as credentialed media for various sporting events.

Next, Alex joined Vox Media, LLC. as an Assistant Engagement Editor, producing engaging video and social media content for multiple platforms. They conducted, filmed, and edited interviews with athletes, coaches, and media personalities and co-managed social media accounts. They then worked at Wave Sports + Entertainment as a Lead Video Editor, collaborating with producers and brand leads to create combat sports video content for the Haymakers brand. They also organized video assets to enhance team workflows.

Currently, Alex is employed at Electric Monster as a Lead Video Editor, and previously worked as a Post-Production Supervisor. In their role as Post-Production Supervisor, they managed the schedule for the department and ensured timely delivery of episodes for review and upload. They also handled staffing needs, risk management, and process improvement opportunities for day-to-day operations.
