Benjamin Gallagher

Benjamin Gallagher is a seasoned professional in geotechnical engineering with over 24 years of experience. Currently, Benjamin serves as Program Leader and Senior Technical Leader at the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI), where work focuses on geotechnical studies related to clean air initiatives and dam safety. Previous positions include Senior Research Engineer and Senior Engineer at Southern Company, where responsibilities encompassed geotechnical support for various safety and engineering projects. Earlier career experience includes roles at TSi Engineering and TTL Associates, specializing in subsurface investigations and foundation recommendations for diverse infrastructures. Benjamin holds a Master’s degree in Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology and an MBA from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from The University of Toledo.
