Miguel Eduardo Hernandez Figueredo is a seasoned technical leader with extensive experience at the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) since June 2018, holding titles as Engineer/Scientist III and previously as Engineer/Scientist II. Prior to this, Miguel pursued a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at Universidad de los Andes from 2014 to 2017, where endeavors included advanced research in electrical distribution systems automation and serving as an assistant in power electronics teaching and laboratories. Miguel also contributed as a student intern at EPRI in late 2017 and as a visiting researcher at The University of Texas at Austin in 2015-2016. Miguel holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Universidad de los Andes and a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering from Universidad Santo Tomás.
