Scott Hamel

Scott Hamel is a seasoned professional in the non-destructive examination (NDE) field with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a Principal Technical Leader at the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) since June 2022, Scott previously held the position of NDE Level III at NextEra Energy Resources from July 2007 to June 2022. Earlier roles include Project Manager at EPRI from January 2004 to July 2007, NDE Specialist at General Electric from 2000 to 2003, NDE Contractor for GENE at SPEC Group from March 1997 to January 2000, and NDE Technician with the US Navy from September 1993 to March 1997.
