Aaron Choate

Aaron Choate has over two decades of experience in various roles related to research, strategy, digital strategies, technology integration, and project coordination. Aaron has worked at the University of Texas at Austin Libraries since 1996, where they have held positions such as Director of Research & Strategy, Director of Digital Strategies, and Head of Technology Integration Services. In these roles, Aaron has been responsible for advancing research and strategy efforts, providing leadership in a dynamic digital environment, and enhancing the user experience through user-centered technologies and services. Aaron also has experience in managing and moderating online platforms dedicated to electric vehicles, as well as providing consulting and parts supply services through their own company, Revolt Electric Vehicles, LLC. Prior to their work in libraries and electric vehicles, Aaron served as the Managing Partner of achoate Information Services.

Aaron Choate has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History from The University of Texas at Austin. Aaron further pursued their education at the same institution and obtained a Master of Library & Information Science (M.L.I.S.) degree in Library and Information Science. The Bachelor's degree was earned from 1989 to 1994, while the Master's degree was completed from 1994 to 1996.
