Georgeta Corina Popescu

Georgeta Corina Popescu is the current CEO of Electrica. Georgeta has previously served as the CEO of Transelectrica, the Secretary of State at the Ministry of Energy, and the Power Assets Manager at OMV Petrom. Prior to that, they were the Branch Manager at OMV Trading and the Regulations Manager and Electricity Market Supervisor at E.ON. Popescu began their career at Electrica in 1998, where they served as the Head of Distribution for eight years.

Popescu has a master's degree in Energetica from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest and a management certificate in Business Administration and Management, General from The open University (CODECS).

Livioara Şujdea - Chief Distribution Officer, Mircea Modran - Chief Information Officer, and Ștefan Frangulea - Chief Financial Officer report to Georgeta Corina Popescu.
