Alaa Tameemi

Alaa Tameemi is an experienced design engineer currently employed at Electrical Consultants, Inc. since January 2021, specializing in the design, programming, testing, and commissioning of hydro generators and power substations. Previously, Alaa served as a Protection and Control Specialist Engineer at Casco Systems from December 2019 to January 2021 and held the position of Technical Project Supervisor at Caterpillar Inc. from March 2008 to July 2017, where responsibilities included designing, installing, and maintaining various electrical panels and power systems. Alaa also worked as a Senior Application Engineer for IRATRAC in Iraq, focusing on power plant installation and maintenance, and began a career as a Sales Manager at Al-Moyasser Distributors from 2004 to 2008. Alaa holds a BSc in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Technology in Iraq and furthered education at Uppsala University from 2016 to 2017.
