Vernon Black

Vernon Black is an experienced Transmission Engineering Manager at Electrical Consultants, Inc. since May 2007, leading the Billings Transmission design team. Vernon has held multiple roles including Senior Project Manager, Project Manager, Project Engineer, and Design Engineer, overseeing design teams and ensuring key performance indicators are met for various Transmission Line Design projects ranging from 12 kV to 345 kV. Prior to this role, Vernon worked as a server at Applebee's and a customer service representative at Direct Financial Solutions. Vernon contributed to the Brazil florianopolis mission as a missionary from 2003 to 2005. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Utah and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Utah State University.
