Electrical Maintenance Lusaka Limited (EML, located in Lusaka) and Electrical Instrumentation Services Limited (EIS, located in Kitwe on the Copperbelt, ) were established in the mid 1960's to provide a competitive and diverse range of electrical products and services in Zambia, both retail and wholesale.

The operation's main businesses today are: design and manufacturing of LV power distribution panels; electrical reticulation projects; wholesale stock list and supplier of electrical contracting products and materials; related customer service in the electrical engineering industry in Zambia; the supply and service of state of the art diagnostic healthcare equipment; supply and installation of solar energy products; landline telephone devices and systems.

The Companies have a sizeable labour force of electrical engineers, technicians, electricians, linesmen, cable jointers, artisans and fitters engaged in the day-to-day operations of the Companies.

EML is the most diversified electrical and electronic engineering company in Zambia, supplying quality products and services in the whole of the country.
